I started working in the Financial Services industry in 2001 and became a fully qualified Independent Financial Adviser in 2004 after achieving a degree in Maths and Sports Science from Birmingham University.
Within Margetts Wealth Management Ltd I focus primarily on the more technical and bespoke planning areas for corporate and high net worth clients, providing solutions in the areas of pensions, investment and tax planning.
To deliver a high quality service, I believe it is important to further my development and to keep pace with changing legislation and have therefore achieved the financial diploma status with the Personal Finance Society and hope to achieve Chartered Status in the near future (i.e. the highest grade of formal qualification available for an Independent Financial Adviser). I also hold specific advanced qualifications in Taxation and Trusts, Investments and Retirement Planning.
I have achieved my success in the industry by hard work and dedication and I always aim to provide clients with the best service possible. I believe this is key to building successful client relationships and a successful business.
Furthermore I always looks to provide proactive advice and servicing to clients and feel that the key to this is maintaining a comprehensive understanding of client’s situations and objectives. I believe that clients always appreciate the time taken to listen to them and understand their requirements. I believe only then can we use our experience and knowledge to provide straightforward and effective solutions so that their requirements can be achieved.
In my spare time I enjoy spending my time with my Wife and 2 young children and like to keep fit… getting out on my mountain bike where I can!
The Financial Conduct Authority does not regulate Tax Planning.
